Kwanzaa and African Instruments

In second and third grades we discussed Kwanzaa and played our new African percussion instruments.  The kids really like these!  Thank you again, PTA!

A student plays the seed rattle (left) and another plays the shekere (right).

Students really like the frog quiro (left), and the agogo bell (right) has a high bell and a low bell.

The talking drum (above) is interesting because the pitch can change.
We realized it sometimes sounds like it's talking!
